Poker Games for LAN

Game Overview

Poker Games for LAN is a multiplayer card game for local network connections. Players connect their Android devices on the same network to join sessions featuring Old Maid or Slaps. The app supports suggestions for additional poker variants.

Old Maid Mechanics

In Old Maid, participants discard matching pairs from their hands. The objective requires avoiding the single unmatched card known as the old maid at the end of play. Players track discards to manage risk during turns.

Slaps Mechanics

Slaps involves a shared deck where players listen for announced numbers. When a called number matches a visible card, participants slap the pile to claim it. The player who fails to react quickly accumulates cards in their stack.

Network Play

Sessions require devices on the same local network for direct connections. Rules and instructions appear in the interface to guide new participants through each variant.
