About this app
Gunblood is a Western action-shooting game centered on quick-draw duels against computer-controlled opponents. The game presents these confrontations through smooth 2D cartoon animation, with touch controls focused on positioning, timing, aiming, and firing. Players choose a gunslinger before entering the documented duel flow, then try to defeat the opposing character before being shot.
Choose a gunslinger and prepare for the duel
After selecting “Start Game,” the player reaches a character selection screen and chooses a gunslinger. The selection provides a choice of character presentation within the Western setting. The source describes nine computer opponents, with each gunfight placing the player in a one-on-one confrontation against one of them.
Each duel begins with six bullets for both the player and the computer opponent. To prepare, move the touch point to the gun barrel in the lower-left corner of the screen. During the countdown, the touch point must stay above the barrel. Moving it onto the barrel too early can pause the game, so positioning is part of the opening control sequence.
Time the shot and respond to the result
When the countdown reaches “Fire,” tap the touch point to aim and shoot. The central objective is to draw first and hit the opponent before the opponent hits the player. This makes reaction speed and precise timing the key documented actions during a round.
A duel can end with one gunslinger defeating the other. If both characters remain alive after using all six bullets, the result is a draw and the round must be restarted. The game also ranks performance using accuracy, speed, and remaining health at the end of a round, giving the outcome more detail than a simple win or loss.
Continue through gunfights and bonus levels
Gunblood includes four bonus levels alongside its main gunfights. A bonus level appears after every two gunfights, changing the immediate objective from attacking an opponent to hitting targets. Players must aim at the targets while dodging assistants, which adds a different demand to the touch-based shooting sequence and provides an opportunity to improve their scores.
The source also describes progressively challenging levels, as well as rewards involving additional guns and costumes. It states that character abilities can be improved through progression. These elements connect successful continuation through the game with further customization and development, while the bonus stages offer a separate target-focused activity between groups of duels.
Presentation and supported content
The interface is described as clean and intuitive, with a visual style based on simple 2D cartoon graphics and Western gunfight settings. Duels take place in different environments and feature varied opponents. The game contains shooting and violence elements, and its documented play is focused on reaction-based action rather than a story campaign or resource-management system.
