About this app
Seif Pharmacy is a mobile application for managing prescriptions, medication schedules, pharmacy orders, and related communications in one place. It connects users with local pharmacies for refill requests, delivery arrangements, order updates, and pharmacist messages.
Prescriptions and medication records
Users can upload or photograph a prescription when requesting a refill, or select an existing active prescription. Past orders and prescription records can be archived for later reference. The app also supports a medication list, barcode scanning for adding medicines, and stored medical history information.
Medication reminders can be configured for individual doses, with repeat and snooze options. Users can add allergies and current medicines to their profile, while built-in medicine descriptions provide information about side effects and contraindications. These details are intended to support routine medication management and pharmacist discussions.
Orders, prices, and delivery
Seif Pharmacy provides pharmacy order tracking with fulfillment stages and expected delivery times. Where information is available, users can compare estimated prices, branded and generic alternatives, insurance coverage estimates, and expected out-of-pocket costs before checkout.
During setup, users can add a preferred pharmacy and link payment methods. The app supports multiple payment options and connects with courier services for same-day or scheduled delivery depending on location. Pharmacy confirmations and shipping updates can appear as notifications.
Communication, access, and app settings
A messaging channel lets users ask pharmacists basic questions, including questions about instructions or possible side effects, before arranging a consultation. Authentication, encryption, a PIN lock, and biometric access are described as available controls for sensitive information. Users can also selectively share health data with family members or caregivers.
The interface places refills, orders, and reminders in the main navigation, with large buttons and medication search. Frequently used pages may be cached to reduce data use. Sync delays can occur during busy periods, although background syncing is provided to help maintain updates.
